Strong quake at 6:30-ish?
Was the earthquake really that big this morning? Or was it just that I wasn’t deep asleep? I mean, the quake actually woke me up for a bit. Well, just enough time for me to check the time before falling asleep again… (-_-;)
Update:
A quake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.0 quake shook Tokyo and its vicinity Saturday morning, the Meteorological Agency said.
The quake struck at 6:38 a.m. (2138 GMT Friday) and was centered off the coast of Chiba Prefecture, the agency said in a statement.
There were no danger of tsunami, it said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage from the quake.
Ah, OK. It was biggish…

It woke me up too. I just laid on my futon waiting for the shaking to stop but it kept going so I thought it was a big one. I did the same exact thing though, checked my watch then went back to sleep.
