I’m slowly recovering
After spending days staying at home due to a backpain, I finally ventured out shopping this evening at a nearby supermarket to buy tonight’s dinner as well as stock up on supplies before the new year arrives.
Basically, I thought I had totally recovered form my back problem but after about 20 minutes of walking around, my back felt rather tired therefore I had to go sit down at MacDonalds (in one corner of the supermarket). Obviously, I wasn’t just gonna sit there and look like an idiot therefore I had to grab some grub. Speaking of which, when did the bog-standard hamburger become so cheap?? ¥80, man! But anyway, this kinda defeated my purpose of going to the supermarket to buy dinner. Sigh, I guess I’ll need a few more days before I return to total fitness. I’m getting there, though, amid slowly.

Wow, melody. will release a new Maxi single called Finding My Road on Valentines Day, February 14, 2007 (actually, it was originally scheduled for end-Jan). That’s just 4 months since she released her previous single, not the usual 6 months gap. I guess she must be doing well right now. Again, I’m gonna have to get it on day one! The CD contains 4 songs:
- Finding My Road
- fragile
- My Dear
- Finding My Road 〜SiZK “Water Drop” MiX – Remixed by SiZK
Two versions of the new single will be available: the standard music CD version (¥1,100) or the music CD + music video DVD combo (music video for Finding My Road. ¥1,500). No need to guess which one I’m gonna go for…
1 commentWhat an Xmas!
I have no idea as to what happened but I have a lower backpain and I can barely even walk right now. I was all fine until yesterday when I went out to buy dinner. On the way to the supermarket, I felt slight pains in both legs. Once I was done with shopping and on my way home, I felt my back was pretty heavy. And by the time I reached the entrance to my apartment, I couldn’t quite make my way up the stairs and had to call for help.
Since then, its gotten worse. I’ve been bed-bound since last night at 9pm. It is so painful that even turning around in bed is without me screaming “ooooh and arrrrrgh!”. Getting up is the worst experience (go to the loo, grab a drink, etc.): I have to move very slowly and pause for a good few seconds after each and every little movement because of the pain.
I’m gonna try and wait it out for a day or two. If this condition remains, I’m gonna have to call for an ambulance. This Xmas is totally ruined! Thank god, I have a laptop so I can browse the web while remaining in bed.

2 commentsTransformers, robots in disguise
With Christmas just around the corner, Michael Bay, the director of the upcoming Transformers movie, has an early Christmas prezzy for all you Transformers fans out there who can’t wait to see his new movie – a new trailer is now available (and in Hi-Def too!). Although it’s still in the form of a teaser as opposed to a full-blown trailer, I guess you guys should be happy with any amount of footage you can scrape.
To be honest (if you even care), I do not have high hopes for this movie at all (crap cast and iffy robos). I think it’ll end up being like the Godzilla movie – a complete flop! Hahahahahahaha. Thank god there’ll be Spider-Man 3 around the same time (which launches 2 months before)…

V8 Vantage Roadster
I only just realised that my beloved car maker, Aston Martin, released the convertible V8 Vantage Roadster. I’m all for a convertible Aston Martin but I’m not sure about it being a version of the V8 Vantage despite it’s beautiful and clean lines. I think a convertible version of the DB9 would be better.
For me personally, I love the Vanquish S for its meaner body lines. That thing is a beast! Actually, the new DBS featured in the new James Bond movie would do nicely for now, Santa…
pleeeeeeeeeeeeease……..
V8 Vantage Roadster
5 commentsThe V8 Vantage Roadster embodies the qualities that are integral to Aston Martin: Power, Beauty and Soul. Representing the essence of pure driving pleasure, the new Roadster is a compact sports car that offers an astonishing blend of performance and exhilaration, a car with two distinct personalities: Open and invigorating, or closed, cosseting and protective.
Adobe Photoshop CS3
… (beta) and the full Creative Suit 3 software is what all pro-creative people are waiting for before throwing down their hard earned cash on a Mac-Intel. Although Photoshop CS3 is just beta at this stage, it indicates that we are getting closer to the release of a Mac-Intel native version of Creative Suit!
Damn, I wish I had a Mac-Intel to test the speed of this Photoshop Beta on (I use an iMac G5 2.1Ghz and PowerBook G4 1.5GHz). Oh well, I guess I can just get used to the new user-interface and the new feature sets before the final release comes out next spring (and save some cash for a Mac-Intel). Anyway, I’m gonna have fun from now
Update
Is Photoshop CS3 much faster than CS2 or is it just me?? Man, it is fast. I’m in love already!
