I liked Casino Royale… it’s a bit rough but has good promise of what to expect from future movies.
The product placement in the movie is bad… simply too much of it! Even his car, apparently the “DBS” logo plate that’s on the seats won’t be in the final version of the car. It was just there to let us know that there a new Aston Martin out.
And Sony… my ohh my… their much delayed BlueRay players that were just released a few weeks ago. Featured in the movie, stacks of them. But I guess if they had them for recording - months if not a year ago, then they were probably just empty shells.
Have you seen “Flags of our fathers” already? If not seeing that before Letters from Iwo Jima is best. At Roppongi Hills they have the English subtitled version.
Casion Royale is good too. Worth paying to see.

I just saw Casino Royale, and yeah, all those Sony logos! Hahahaha…! Anyway, it was a pretty good movie. Didn’t like the last 20 mins or so, tho…

I don’t think I can deal with 2 war movies. Do I really need to see Flags of our fathers before seeing Letters from Iwo Jima?
Nicole Carina: While could have been sexier, she was truly adorable, which I think was the point. To show, if any, this kind of woman would be the one that James Bond could fall in love with. He did have a sexy woman earlier in the movie.
Eddie, maybe you’ve already gone and seen it by now. But it’s a must to see both films in whichever order you want. There’s some scenes that overlap subtlely.

I liked Casino Royale, it was pretty good. Had one of the better foot chases I’ve seen in a movie. The “bond girl” could have been sexier though :/
