What an Xmas!
I have no idea as to what happened but I have a lower backpain and I can barely even walk right now. I was all fine until yesterday when I went out to buy dinner. On the way to the supermarket, I felt slight pains in both legs. Once I was done with shopping and on my way home, I felt my back was pretty heavy. And by the time I reached the entrance to my apartment, I couldn’t quite make my way up the stairs and had to call for help.
Since then, its gotten worse. I’ve been bed-bound since last night at 9pm. It is so painful that even turning around in bed is without me screaming “ooooh and arrrrrgh!”. Getting up is the worst experience (go to the loo, grab a drink, etc.): I have to move very slowly and pause for a good few seconds after each and every little movement because of the pain.
I’m gonna try and wait it out for a day or two. If this condition remains, I’m gonna have to call for an ambulance. This Xmas is totally ruined! Thank god, I have a laptop so I can browse the web while remaining in bed.
Sorry to hear, that. I really hope it gets better soon.
It’s called gikurigoshi. It happens. Best to not move and wait it out. Also, don’t play any Wii Sports.
Even though you may feel better by now, you still should be examined by a physician. Back pain should be treated before it gets worse.
Merry Christmas fella - sorry to hear about your back, hope it gets better soon. In the meantime, get plenty of rest and keep your muscles warm!
We’re both suffering Wii Sports fatigue at the moment….
I’m so sorry you’re feeling bad.
Keep us updated with how you’re doing.
Thanks for your concerns. Much appreciated.
I feel about 90% better now after being confined to the bed and taking painkillers for the last few days. I’m gonna try to come off the painkillers tomorrow and see if the pain returns. If it does, then I have no choice other than to go to a hospital. Fingers crossed…
This is defo the worst Xmas I’ve had in Tokyo!
And, btw, I’ve never played on a Wii before…
u r getting old man!!!
I’ve had this happen to me. I’m not a doctor, but be careful when you do feel better. Take care…
Eddie, hope you are feeling better to enjoy the year end!
