AGLOCO

agloco.jpgWell, I guess I couldn’t ignore AGLOCO anymore. AGLOCO is the new and easy way to make some cash while you are surfing the web, with zero catches. AGLOCO is just a simple tiny toolbar which you install onto your browser and it displays some small ads which you can ignore and never click on. You see, you are not being paid for clicking on the ads, instead you are paid per hour for just surfing the net with the toolbar installed. Yep, as simple as that!

AGLOCO employs a pyramid scheme in which if you refer someone to AGLOCO, then that someone refers someone, and so fourth, you get to make some cash from every one of your referrals in your pyramid! And there is no limit on the number of referrals that you can get paid for, and your referrals do not lose anything in the process. I bet Amway rings the bell, huh (it does for me cuz I had a Chinese lady trying super-hard to recruit me 13 years ago. She came to see me literally daily! And no, I didn’t join)?

PANTONE coloured cellphones

PANTONE812sh.jpg

… the 812SH by Sharp on SoftBank. Quite frankly speaking, nothing about this cellphone tickles my fancies but being a designer, of course I’m attracted by the available 20 Pantone colours (color matching system). I guess they will only look good if you have all 20 displayed side-by-side like the image above. Whereas, each one by itself, hmmmmmm…

Frilled Shark captured on film

frilledshark02.jpgThe Japanese dudes from the Awashima Marine Park, earlier this week captured on film a rare primitive shark from the pre-historic era with ugly proportions, known as the Frilled Shark, while it swan close to the surface near Japan.

Surprisingly, these things still exist today (I didn’t know) but are rarely ever seen because they live 2,000ft or more below the ocean. If anyone is lucky enough to spot one, it is usually dead therefore having a live one captured on film is a thrilling thing. Sadly, this one captured on film, also died shortly after being moved to a seawater pool for observation.

Slurp, slurp, slurp

CIMG29141.jpgUlala is 100% back! From the day after his surgery, he’s been acting as if the operation never happened at all! Tearing magazines and newspapers, jumping on and off the sofa, chewing on the rug, running into other rooms, + all the usual bunny mischiefs.

Ulala has always been rather rebelious and usually demands quite a bit of attention otherwise you’d have nothing left of your favourite Armani Jeans, your favourite magazines, etc. Come to think of it, I’m actually beginning to feel grateful that he is such a naughty boy. This factor probably contributed to his fast recovery.

Anyway, it’s great he is doing so well. My worries have been put to rest. And, thanks for all the well wishes.

Who is a strong boy?

ulalal.jpgWell, here he is. Isn’t he strong?

As soon as I entered the clinic to pick up Ulala after his operation, I could already see the top of his head moving around in the cage. The vet also told me that he ate cabbage as soon as he woke up… hahahahaha. When the vet transferred him into the carry case, he pee’d himself. I’m not sure if he lost control due to the operation, or he was trying to make himself safe by marking territory. But anyway…

When I got him home, I placed him deep inside his cage but he came out right away to drink water. He then ran and circled the living room before going back into the cage and lied down. Every now and again he gets up and looks around and drink lots of water before lying down again. I think he is trying hard to break out of the effects of the anaesthetics. Pain-wise, its kinda suppressed right now via an injection. From tomorrow, I’d have to feed him pain killers.

Feels weird without Ulala

case_blankets.jpgBy now, I guess Ulala’s operation is over and he’s probably about to wake up soon. I dropped him off at the rabbit specialists this morning at 10:30am and will need to go to pick him up at 5pm.

After leaving the vets, I went to a pet store to buy a new hard carry case and a few pet blankets. I already have a carry case for Ulala but it is a soft case which makes it hardly ideal to carry the poor fella in after an operation especially considering it will be rush hour on the trains when I pick him up. Anyway, the shop had the case I wanted but it was only available in green, not the beige I wanted. I was tempted to go to another pet store to find a beige one but since I have ¥3,000 worth of points at this shop, it would have been silly to go elsewhere and pay full price for one since I’m pretty sure the case will only be used for this one occasion.

Two days to go

ulala.jpg

Ulala will undergo an operation this Friday to remove a big tumour from the lower left-side of his back as well as to get neutered (for a happier, healthier and longer life). I’m not looking forward to this weekend…

MEDIA SKIN

media_skin_2.jpg

KDDI AU Design project’s MEDIA SKIN cellphone by heavyweight Japanese designer, Tokujin Yoshioka, is about to be released on AU’s network and is one of only a few designer cellphones I actually like (I like talby and INFOBAR 2).
