Too late for sakura

11.jpg

I’ve been quite busy during the last 6 days in which I didn’t get a chance to leave my apartment, at all. I think this will continue for at least another full week. Obviously, being stuck at home, I feel quite sick therefore I went out with Ulala for about 45 mins today for some fresh air. I wanted to take some pics of Cherry blossoms near my place but I guess I’ve missed it. Most of the sakura has fallen off making the trees look quite shabby with whats left on them, damn! I knew I should have went out last weekend to take some pics! Oh well..

Sounds like you caught the flu that is going around. My fiancee spent a good two weeks sick. Hope you are starting to feel much better. Looks like Ulala really enjoyed himself.

It feels like this year’s Hanami season was too short…

I see Ulala with a leash. How “walkable” are bunnies?

I mean’t, I feel sick from staying at home for days without going out for fresh air, not that I caught a bug or something. Ulala kinda enjoyed himself - had some places to explore…

Hey, Happy Easter to you and Tony too! Since we don’t do Easter here in Japan, I usually never know what days Easter falls on…

Bunnies are 100% not walkable (unless you would call “dragging” them along the floor walkable). I now strap harnesses around him and sometimes put him on a leash. I never did used to because I’ve never had him run away from me until one day… I was chilling in a playground with him when all of a sudden, some dick in some shit car thinking he was driving a Ferrari and revved his car real hard causing Ulala to crapped himself and running off from me! I chased Ulala calling out his name but he just outran and dodged me. I guess because he was so shocked, his instincts from being at the bottom of the food chain, kicked in. He just didn’t know who I was and probably thought, “damn, a big monster is chasing me. I’m gonna be his dinner”. When he finally ran out of places to run, I was so worried that he’d run out of the playground and onto the road infront of oncoming traffic. But luckily, he didn’t do that, instead he hid himself deep into the bushes nearby. I got down on my knees so he could see me and I called out his name a few times before he finally came to me, phweeeeeeew. So since then, just to be safe, I keep him on a leash.

Great story! Interestingly I’ve had an experience chasing after a bunny trying to save it’s life too. Those suckers are FAST! A nice long leash really would have helped in the chase.
