Upgraded to WordPress 2.2
Finally upgraded this blog’s software to the latest and greatest WordPress 2.2 after my original WordPress 2.0.4 (used since July 2006) started experiencing all-kinds-of-problems for the last weeks due to the latest version of PHP.
The WordPress upgrade itself went rather smoothly (amid backing up was rather time consuming) but most of the plug-ins I was running didn’t seem to work properly with the new install. I’ve updated all of the plug-ins now therefore this site should look and work just like it did before (hopefully).
If you encounter anything that is broken, missing, or looks and acts plain weird, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
PS. If you’re running WordPress, the 2.2 upgrade is well worth it! I’m already in love…

Odin – the diving tiger

Besides bunnies, did I also mention my fascination for Great White Sharks and Tigers? Well, now you know. Quite the opposite of bunnies, huh? Hahahaha…
4 commentsPantone folder icons
I’ve been rooting through my hard drive for the last day or two and backing up data just in case this silly iMac decides to suddenly die on me. Totally forgot I even had these cool Mac OSX folder icons until now. So glad I found them again (can’t remember where I downloaded them from either, sorry). Don’t you just love Pantone?
2 commentsWhat’s “Star Wars” Again? This Guy Never Saw It
The title is indeed referring to moi and it is the title belonging to a ‘Star Wars 30th Anniversary interview‘ which I recently did for E! Online (thanks Joal).
Here’s my original blog entry which somehow got the interview started.
29 commentsError: 2STH/1/2:CPU T-Diode
The problem I was having with my 20-inch iMac G5 2.1Ghz (iSight) where the computer would just suddenly ‘fall asleep’ is still happening. I finally had the time to run the hardware test DVD just now and the following error was returned:
Logic Board Error
Code: 2STH/1/2:CPU T-Diode
After googling 2STH/1/2:CPU T-Diode (not the best of keywords) and snooping around on Apple’s very own support forums, I found out that it has something to do with the logical board (and power unit?) overheating. To top it off, I am far from being alone and that this problem has been going on since the first generation iMac G5s! And it is so typical for Apple to not give a damn and continue to let known problems plague future releases. As much as I love the looks of Apple designs, they just don’t work when it comes to engineering! The current iMacs house the flat panel display, the CPU, the power unit, etc., all in a 2-inch thin case. Basically, with all those heat generating components in an awfully thin case, no wonder the unit overheats!

Well, revenge is gained and a big congrats to AC Milan (2-1). They didn’t get this far with luck, they had all the skills and qualities required. A totally magnificent team that deserves the glory to be Champions of Europe for the seventh time. Congratulazioni!

The Joker revealed
Warner Bros has finally revealed the first official image of the Joker played by Heath Ledger in the sequel to 2005′s Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, which will hit the big screens on July 18, 2008.
The official pic of the Joker is totally not quite what I had expected. To say he is ugly or freaky is an understatement. He looks just… well… horrible! And because of this, I will refrain from embedding the image directly above the fold. With director Chris Nolan’s “keep it real” approach, I knew not to expect the Joker’s appearance to have that familiar-huge-comical-grin, but I just didn’t quite expect the Joker to look this ‘real’.
No commentsFlea market 5/2007
Already that time of the year again – flea market in Musashi-Koyama. As mentioned before, Musashi-Koyama organises a flea market event twice a year in May and October, and me and my friends usually always participate. Because I’ve blogged about this event ‘god knows how many times’ (new and old site), I won’t bother to write much for this entry because the event always takes place in the same place and always the same people participate – basically there is really not all that much to write about.
