Flea market 5/2007
Already that time of the year again - flea market in Musashi-Koyama. As mentioned before, Musashi-Koyama organises a flea market event twice a year in May and October, and me and my friends usually always participate. Because I’ve blogged about this event ‘god knows how many times’ (new and old site), I won’t bother to write much for this entry because the event always takes place in the same place and always the same people participate - basically there is really not all that much to write about.
The only things I have to add is, we were allocated a not-too-great-spot compared with the previous times therefore sales was not cool (not that I had a lot to sell anyway - just some small cheapo toys). Danny (as himself, not Storm Trooper) and his beautiful wife dropped by to say ‘hi’ since they live nearby. And boy, it was a hot and sunny day. The sun was directly above our heads from beginning to end. Now, I’m a little red. I’m a pretty pale guy (some say I’m white, some say I’m pale, others say I’m green) and I rarely ever get tanned. I just turn a little red after long exposures to sunlight which usually lasts only about a day or two. Because of the heat, I ended up spending more cash on buying soft drinks and ice cream than what I had made from my sales! Doh…
