2 commentsMy love for red meat
Those who know me well are well aware that I’m a big, big fan of red meat. Well, not just red meat, all meat for that matter. I’m always craving for meat and if there is one meal that I eat in a day which contains no meat, I somewhat feel as if I have no energy…
5 commentsAyu X Hello Kitty products
Hello, Hello Kitty fans, what do we have here for you? Japan’s hottest pop-diva, Hamasaki Ayumi (although she’s slowly giving ground to Koda Kumi), in a special collaboration with Sanrio, the company famous for their cute little characters (namely, Hello Kitty).
The collaboration brings us a digicam with Ayu’s logo printed on the face-plate along with the famous Kitty lurking from behind (the official collaboration logo). This special camera is of course, limited, and will be available on June 18 (I think fan club members can get it earlier, not sure). It is basically the 7.2mp Panasonic DMC-FX30 in white (pretty decent cam), comes bundled with a special carry case with the Ayu-Kitty logo embossed, and the box it comes in is… well… the normal cardboard box with the exception of the Ayu-Kitty logo. All this will set you back ¥54,600.

You know, this movie will probably suck but the CG robots, and especially the way they transform, sure looks awesome! Checkout the latest Yahoo exclusive trailer 4 (hit the ‘exclusive trailer” link).

I hate exclusive and limited toys! But that’s what also makes them worth more in the long run. But they’re just so hard to get here in Tokyo where everyone happens to be a toy-otaku of some sort.

Baby crabs
I was in the supermarket just before and came across these wrapped baby crabs. And boy were they super-active! Being in Japan, of course I get to see lots of fresh moving seafood here in supermarkets like abalone, larger crabs, shrimps/prawns, shell fishes, etc., but they usually look less active because the trays they are in just about fits them hence they have no space for movement (well, you don’t get much movement from things like abalone anyway).
3 commentsNew colour variation Media Skin

Do you guys remember the New Colour Variation poll AU KDDI was running for the Media Skin cellphone which I mentioned about a few months back? No? Uh, OK… here’s a quote from my original entry:
No commentsStar Wars

After seeing Spider-Man 3 and going to the Spider-Man exhibition two weeks ago, me and the guys headed off to a restaurant for an early dinner where we discussed about movies. Can’t remember how it was brought up, but Star Wars was mentioned… (below is roughly the dialogue. Not 100% accurate):

… the title to the ‘Batman Begins’ sequel which will hit the theaters on July 18, 2008. Above is the teaser image on Warner Bros’ new official website for the movie (thats all they have on there right now).
Director Chris Nolan is back on the helm along with most of the original cast: Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, etc. The villian in this sequel will be the kick-ass Joker and is played by Heath Ledger. Can’t wait to see some official pics of him - I hope his looks will be as sadistic as some of the comics…
