AJAX Edit Comments
I’ve added the ‘WP Ajax Edit Comments‘ plugin (for WordPress 2.1+) giving you guys the ability to edit your comments inline after they appear on the site.
After posting a comment, you will see instructions on your comment box along with a countdown timer. You will have 15 30 minutes (after your comment appears on the site) to edit your ‘information’ and/or ‘comment’ as many times as you like. Very handy for correcting any mistakes you may have or adding additional information. And being in AJAX allows everything to be done without the need for the page to refresh. Great stuff!
It is rather easy to edit your comment:
- Click on your name and you will instantly get access for editing your name and URL
- Click on the comment itself and you will gain access for editing your comment
Just remember to click ’save’ after you have made your changes…
After 15 30 minutes is up, obviously, no more changes will be allowed.
