BatPod?
Batman officially has a new ride, the BatPod, for the new Batman movie.
… a bike so outrageous it’s hard to believe it was even built. It’s not just because it’s tricked out with grappling hooks, cannons and machine guns. The front and rear tires are both a monstrously huge 508 millimeters, and the engines are in the hubs of each wheel. Steering isn’t by hand but by shoulder, since there aren’t handlebars. Instead, there are shields that fit each arm like sleeves and have the ability to rotate around the bike’s frame. The two foot pegs are set 3 1/2 feet apart on either side of the tank, which the rider lies on, belly down.
That’s it. This does it for me. I will drop all expectations for this movie from this day forward. I do not like the new Batsuit and I do not like this Batpod. It’s getting very silly and it is really beginning to remind me of ‘Batman & Robin’. Just like with ‘Batman’, Tim Burton raked in lots of money for the studios therefore he got to do whatever he liked with ‘Batman Returns’ (it was still good). Same with Joel schumacher: his ‘Batman Forever’ (appalling) made the most money ever for a Batman movie therefore the studios allowed him to wreck the franchise even further with ‘Batman & Robin’ (beyond appalling).

Ok i understand that some of the new features in the film seem silly, but if remember Bruce Wayne may have a penthouse in Gotham. And that explains 1 reason for the batpod. I mean its not like he can hide the tumbler anywhere in the city. And as for the new bat suit, im glad that he upgrades, but that he also has the N.S.S. through half of the film. As for the firing gauntlets, come on i have never seen that that weapon in any of the comics. Even tho his armor is lookin machanical look at Batman Returns costume. As for the villian/villians Im glad they paid tribute to Jack Nicholson where he was shot through the cheeks and left the scares for the time being. I dont know if scarecrow might make an appearence in this one or not. Anywho for a fan like me i cant wait to see this movie, but im expecting a let down like spiderman 3 and X-men 3.
