Heart-kun

Well, it’s not hard to see where this 6 week old chihuahua got his name, Heart-kun, from. This cutey was born in northern Japan and is one of a big litter, but the only one with a perfectly formed heart-shaped pattern on it’s fur. Of the thousand or so chihuahuas the owner has bred to date, only Heart-kun came with such a mark.

Just take a look at the pattern – that really is a perfectly formed heart shape. I’d love to have this little fella, but unfortunately, he ain’t for sale. And even if he was, I doubt he’d be going for cheap, anyway. Oh well, I can always wish for a bunny with such a pattern (probably not cheap either!)…

What does ‘-kun’ mean?
‘-kun’ – suffix attached to a boys given or family name (usually a younger boy or a close friend). ie. some friends call me Eddie-kun or Eddie-chan (-chan is unisex. Usually for young children or a close friend).

    I’m surprised that you’re surprised for thinking that I wouldn’t be able to figure out a PhotoShop hoax :? (can usually tell from the second I zoom in on a pic).

    Believe me, this photo is not PhotoShopped. The only way it could be a hoax is if the owner actually painted the heart directly onto the puppy’s fur then took a photo of it…

    that dog has a perfect shaped heart birthmark it is not photoshop i saw the dog on magazines and the news. but this pup is so cute i would just cuddle with it for a long time . I love you heart-kun!
