Cellphone pics of Ulala

Ulala (XX Nov 2001 – 18 Apr 2007)
Here are some collage of Ulala photos taken via my many cellphones during the last few years. I have more cellphone pics of Ulala than from a normal camera since my cellphone is always close by allowing me to take snaps of him whenever I feel like…

As with every year, I’ll briefly be there…

Any of you feeling unhappy because you have too much money? Well, there are always kind people like me who would be more than happy to help you get rid of that evil substance!
You can start by buying me some of this stuff:
- Apple MacBook Pro (15-inch matt, 2.4Ghz, 4GB ram, 160GB 7200-rpm HD)
- Apple Cinema Display (either 23-inch or 30-inch)
- Apple Keyboard (either one, I don’t mind)
Jagabee
Besides being a meat lover, I’m also a big fan of junk food, namely Coke-Cola and crisps (I’m a Brit therefore I don’t do the name potato chips). If I had enough at home, I can usually go through them all rather quickly. To say I love crisps, that really is understated… I’ve loved them since childhood (a packet a day after school lunch)!
Anyway, since I don’t have much updates recently, I thought I’d introduce Calbee’s Jagabee potato sticks to you. Is this a new product? Erm… to be honest, I’m not even sure. I’m more into the normal thin and rounded crisps as opposed to thick crunchy sticks. The only reason Jagabee caught my attention is via a tv show I watched last week.
4 commentsEx-colleagues meet-up
On Saturday, me and a bunch of ex-colleagues met-up in Shibuya for dinner to greet Bill whom is back in town for a visit from the US. Half of us at the meeting are working for different employers now – Bill left and went back to the US about two years ago, I left a year and a half ago, a few other guys left a few months after me, etc. The other half are still there.
Although most of us at the meeting have not seen each other for a while, it feels as if nothing has changed. It feels as if we just left work and are grabbinig dinner, just like it did over 2 years ago. Obviously, 2 years doesn’t alter appearances in age all that much therefore everyone looks pretty much the same. I did get a few people saying I lost weight and seem a bit pale, though (I was never dark to begin with and my weight loss is due to my worsening ability to sleep). Thank god no one mentioned, “Hey Ed, your hair is falling out”. I would have hurled myself out the nearest window! Hahahaha…
Always, after meetings like these, it makes me miss the old days…
3 commentsNew ‘Dark Knight’ pics

We are receiving many e-mails from you, the fans, about new photos that have turned up from The Dark Knight. The photos also turned up on our message boards yesterday and Warner Bros. Pictures requested us to remove them from the site, which we have done. Although they looked excellent, we won’t be posting or linking to them on the site.
Superhero Hype!
August 17, 2007
Well, the very same images have practically shown up everywhere else
… enjoy!
(Note: images may or may not contain spoilers. Don’t say you weren’t warned!)
New Sony Bravia advert
Remember the mind-blowing CG-free Sony Bravia Adverts from 2005 and 2006 (I blogged about them back then)? You know, the one with millions of colourful bouncy balls pouring down the roads of San Francisco (2005)? Or the one with gallons of paint bursting all over an estate in Glasgow (2006)? If you’ve never seen either of them, that is worse than not having seen Star Wars, period!
Well, seems like the creative minds over at Fallon are preparing for the next Sony Bravia assault – this time featuring hundreds of colourful Play-Doh/Plasticine bunnies in New York! No idea if filming has wrapped up or still ongoing but I cannot wait to see the finished product! October 2007, let the countdown begin!
1 commentiMac – brief hands on

Yep, as I said I would in the morning (in the previous post), I headed off to Apple Store in Ginza this afternoon to take a look at the industrial design of the new iMac. So how was it?
2 commentsNew iMac
You know, I’m not even sure I like the new design of the new iMac. Well, if we can even call it a new design, that is…
Aluminum… nice. Glass… nice. But the shape remains the same amid a bit thinner (love to see how well it deals with the heat). And I certainly don’t know what is with the thick black frame all around the screen; makes the screen look bigger while making the outer bevel look thinner? Just something to make it more aesthetically pleasing? From the CG renders, I don’t think I dig it. I guess I’ll just have to see the real thing for myself. Actually, I think I’ll head off to see it tomorrow…
5 commentsFinally saw Transformers
Transformers finally started screening here in Tokyo yesterday. Thats like a whole month after US! It was a long wait indeed especially after reading all those rave reviews from US and UK websites.
As I’ve mentioned before, I had literally zero faith in the movie even back in the days when it was first announced. Despite all the rave reviews after the movie was released, I still prevented myself from expecting too much. Afterall, I expected too much from Spider-Man 3, it kinda hurt when I finally got to see it.
