TGS2007: Cosplay

(Re-posted after data loss) Well, it wouldn’t be a TGS without the usual Cosplayers, would it? Again, as with every year, you get a bunch of people here dressed up as their admired characters from either video-games, manga or movies. Most of the cosplayers are done up pretty well and looks the real deal (god knows how much their outfits cost), while there are a handful that look rather tacky. Either way, these are just a bunch of good people having fun and being… well… what they want to be.

TGS2007: Booth babes

(Re-posted after data loss) Hmmmmm… maybe it’s just me but I really do feel that the quality of the booth babes are dropping year after year. 5 years ago, there were not only more booth babes to any one game developer, but they were also much better looking. Now, there seems less booth babes around, less good looking ones (if any), less revealing costumes (hahaha), and most will not allow you to take pics of them (Microsoft seemed especially anal in this regard).

Tokyo Game Show 2007 (TGS2007)

(Re-posted after data loss) To be very honest, just like last year, I came to TGS without trying any games out. For starters, I am not the type that would queue 90 minutes just so I can try out a new game for 5 minutes. Secondly, I don’t really play games all that often. I’m actually more interested in the design of the interface. Alright, alright, the truth is, I’m an old sod and the games of today are far too sophisticated for me… (-_-;)
