Play-Doh

Sony’s new Bravia advert featuring hundreds of plasticine bunnies running around New York, Play-Doh, finally aired a week or two ago.
Despite the fact that I find the ad pretty cool, I somewhat feel it ‘doesn’t work well’ especially when compared with the previous two ads. OK, there are lots of colourful bunnies and blocks and what-have-you, but… but… that’s basically it. I cannot seem to find the words to describe how I feel about it and why I think it doesn’t work as well. Maybe it’s just not colourful/vivid enough… oh, I dunno.
Anyway, see the ad and judge for yourselves…
The new Sony Bravia website:

Kozy and Dan Kitchens, of kozyndan, presented the idea to Sony’s ad agency a while back and they took the idea and ran with it without paying or crediting kozyndan.

The ad is just AWESOME! I think it ‘works’ great:) Much better than the previous one with apartment blocks and fountains of paint…
