Site adjustment

I’ve made some minor adjustments to the width of the content column. This is because it’ll make it easier for me to link images from my Flickr account. The content column, until now, was 485 pixels in width. Now, it has been increased to 510 pixels.
When the content column was 485px in width, my pictures had to be 475px. This is because a frame is drawn around the image with 5px padding all-around (475px + 5 px on each side, above and below). In Flickr, multiple size versions of your uploaded images are offered through their API (square, thumbnail, small, medium, large and original) and the medium size for landscape format is at 500px in width X whatever in height. Sure, Flickr’s API is rather good and easily allows me to specify the width and height of pictures to my preferences rather than select from their offered sizes, but it’s a pain having to calculate the height against the width every time (my images are always cropped to a wide format) and push keys to input the numbers. It’s so much easier to just copy the Flickr link and paste it in, period.
So yeah, because I’m a lazy-bum, I decided to increase the content column width to 510px which will allow me to link images from my Flickr account at the default medium size without the hassle of calculating and punching in numbers (^_^;)

PS. I will update some, but not all, the images from my previous entries to fit the new width therefore some entries may look odd (shorter) in places. The text will also re-flow a bit and may cause certain entries to look odd too.
