Watami Izakaya

I guess most of you are familar with Izakaya? Izakaya is basically a Japanese drinking place which also serves food to accompany the drinks (food as in meals, not just snacks). Izakayas are pretty much everywhere and are popular for after work drinking. They range from small and cozy local joints -to- chain franchises which have a much larger footprint -to- more high-end, designer decorated interior ones. Obviously, the price and the quality of the food is reflected.
Yesterday, I was dining at an Izakaya chain called Watami. Watami is pretty low-end (well, which chain franchise isn’t) therefore the price is cheap making this place very popular with students and old salary-men (business/office man) alike. Food wise, well, I’m not all that fussy with food. For this price, one really shouldn’t complain. The food is certainly not super but nor is it bad. In fact, I find it pretty decent. But that’s just me…
Anyway, everything you see below set me back JP¥3,900.

Organic veg Choregi salad (Korean style)

Beef yukke (Korean style raw beef) and special recipe chicken wings

Rice set (with soup and pickles) and chips!

Organic beans and avocado with mayonaise and wasabi (and a few sheets of seaweed)

Nankotsu (chicken’s soft white bone)

Cookie frozen ice cocktail - complete with a choco cookie!
You should work in the kitchen in one of those fast-food izakayas. I don’t think you’d ever want to eat there again.
if there will be written a english menu then it will be easy to understand for those people who are non japanese and chinese.i m working in watami .
