Sounds nifty! How are you liking it? I use my cell phone for all my scheduling and appointments. Do you think your iPods doing the job well for you?

The iPod touch /iPhone, as standard, does not allow 3rd party apps to be installed (the system is locked). So to many people, they feel like the iPod/iPhone is in jail (the potential deliberately crippled). Jailbreaking the iPhone/ipod is nothing more than a hack – a hack that opens up the system so apps can be copied to and from it.

Now that my iPod is jailbroken, I can add apps to it and it has pretty much become a PDA.

So is it because you wanted the 1.1.2 version? Because I jailbreaked my 1.1.1 from the iTouch itself.

I haven’t gotten around to get 1.1.2 yet.
