Saw I am Legend

I am Legend started screening in Hong Kong today and since I had no plans after dinner, I dropped off at the cinema next to the hotel and watched it… on my tod…

The movie was kinda OK for a zombie movie but I somewhat feel the end was rushed. I mean, the story goes well and such but it just fell a bit short from fully being developed. Just as things started to work out, the movie had to end.

I can’t remember how long the movie was but an extra 15-mins before the finale would probably have evolved the story better (this is the best I can put it without going into spoilers).

I’m not sure if I would recommend this movie. I’m no fan of zombie movies, I’m a fan of Will Smith hence I had to see it (also because the new Dark Knight trailer was supposed to be attached. Well, it is attached in the US but not in HK!). If I was to rate this movie out of 10, I think I would give it a 6.

ps. photo taken in Causeway Bay, not Tsim Sha Tsui where my hotel is.

I wanted to see this movie, but now you said it’s not that much, I might reconsider going to see it. :/

    David,
it’ll be made available from early next week on http://atasteforthetheatrical.com/

    Roy,
I’m a hot person rather than cold. I wear a t’shirt (under) and a top that is just as thin (basically like wearing 2 t’shirts). I still sweat a bit. To be on the safe side, maybe you should bring a thin jacket.
