Yukimizakura KitKat

Have a break, have a KitKat. Is that still the catchphrase back in England? Anyway, here is this season’s KitKat - sakura flavour. Although KitKat is one of many foreign brands here, that doesn’t stop it from getting the exclusive ‘Japan only’ treatment (just like last summers Pepsi Ice Cumcumber).

A while back, we had the ‘macha-flavoured KitKat’ and now we get a taste of sakura. The KitKat itself is coated in pink and white chocolate (resembling the name: ’snow’ and ’sakura’) and the taste pretty much does taste like sakura leaves and cherries since it contains 1.5% sakura leaves and some cherry-fragranced chemical… hahaha (put off by the chemical?). But man, this KitKat is just tooooooo sweet for my liking.

Anyway, when it comes to variety for food (or anything, for that matter), whether it be good, bad or just plain weird, you cannot beat Japan, period.

Your Kitkat packaging is strange! Back here in England, we have FOIL FRESHNESS packaging!

And yup, 20 years on, it’s still the same catchphrase. Best Kitkats are the originals followed by mint ;)
