Dining in China town

Went to China town in Yokohama yesterday (btw, there is no China town in Tokyo) since it was Chinese new year the other day.
Despite being Chinese new year, there were no clebrations going on. I guess the lion dance and whatever else probably happened on the actual new year day - last Thursday. Kinda strange that nothing was scheduled for the weekend since this is pretty much the only time when people don’t have to go to work thus can make the journey here. But anyway, despite no events, the place was still pretty darn packed.
I just walked around for a bit before bumping into Eric, had a quick chat with him (this guy always makes me laugh), then headed off for dinner in one of a few thousand Chinese restaurants there…

The set banquets

A la carte menu

Appetisers: jelly fish, king prawns, chicken, char sui and abalone

Prawns and scallop seafood soup

Sharks fin with crab meat

Some fish cake roll and rice wrap thingies

Fatty pork with bun and chilli king prawns

Wrapped - fatty pork pao

Prawn and pork dumplings

Seafood with puffed rice (like rice crispies)

Almond tofu pudding

Chinese sake and tea
Because this is China town, the real deal, the service was pathetic! Waitresses were screaming at each other in Mandarin from the 1st floor up to 3rd floor, had no clue what they were serving or doing, gave dirty stares when I asked for tea re-fill, and got my bill wrong (over charge). Believe me, it’s not just me being anal - the next table were not happy either. Plus, I could also hear customers (another 2 tables) sounding frustrated when talking to the waitresses. But anyway, I’ll never be coming here again even though the food was good.
Can you tell me if there is one really good restaurant in Yokohama Chukagai? When I say really good, I mean the food, the service AND the ambiance. If there is one, I don’t know about it.
Ouch, your comment pretty much confirms my fears - that a ‘really good’ restaurant in China town does not exist… hahaha
To seriously answer your question: I’ve only been to China town a few times therefore I’m really not sure.
Why do you have to keep taking photos of food makes me hungry, Food looks tasty. I can eat my LCD TV with those photos of food yum yum…
