China town, Yokohama

Some photos from when I visited China town in Yokohama.

China town is pretty huge here: there are approx. 9 Chinese arches, a good few temples, lots of souvenir shops, lots of small shops selling Chinese snacks/food and cutlery, and tons and tons of restaurants.

China town here is more of a ‘China’ China town as opposed to a ‘Hong Kong’ China town (like all the ones in England, Toronto, San Francisco, etc.). Don’t expect to be able to communicate in Cantonese here, or be able to buy HK music CDs, movies, magazines, etc.
