Sony Ericsson W61S sample
Saw a mock-up of the Sony Ericsson W61S mobile phone on the weekend at the AU KDDI Design Center in Harajuku.
Hmmmmmmm… unfortunately, the phone doesn’t look all that cool. The top layer of the buttons are high-gloss and transparent, the phone itself is thicker than I had thought, and I feel there are too many buttons and compartments (mem-card slot, charger connector, etc.) along the sides. The design just doesn’t look clean. To be honest, I’m not sure if I want it anymore. But again, I need to see the rest of the colours first. Only the pink one was on display.
I do like the size of the screen. Hope the other colors don’t look so plastic and shiny…
