Okinawa product exhibition

… 沖縄物産展 on the 8th floor of the Tokyu Department Store in Shibuya.

The exhibition (if you can call it that) runs from April 24th - April 30th with special Okinawan performances on the 26th and 27th at 1pm and 3pm (Ryukyu festival drums, dance and karate).
The exhibition basically sells things originated from Okinawa, from (mainly) food to ceramics to items of clothing. Because it is a Friday night, it was rather crowded with people dropping by after work to grab some Okinawan grub, just like me and a few others (^_^)

Okinawan soba - it is so good. Ribs… phwoar!

Add this chilli-pepper-vinegar kinda sauce to the soba for more flavor.

Some kind of leek - they were good but expensive.

People queuing up for all kinds of grub.

Non-food stalls were rather quiet.

Okinawan lion mascot.

I bought a box of pre-prepared Okinawan soba - 4 servings for JP¥3,200. Also bought a bottle of the chilli-pepper-thingy sauce (¥630).

4 packs of soba complete with soup, ribs, ginger, spring onions, etc. (I already ate another!).

Also bought some Okinawan steamed black sugar muffin-like things. Will scoff them for breakfast tomorrow…
I LOVE OKINAWA AND THEIR FOODS!
