ITTS 2008: Hot Toys Iron-Man

And here it is, the 1/6th Iron-Man figure by Hot Toys. Hot Toys announced a while back that they’d be doing a 1/6th figure of Iron-Man but this is the very first time they’ve shown it off. So, what do you all think of it?

Personally, I think the details on the figure are pretty impressive despite the fact that it is a little out of proportion (maybe the waist is too long while the leg is too short). And just take a look at the Tony Stark/Robert Downey Jr. headsculpt… it isn’t half bad either.

One thing I did notice though, the armour is most definitely not a suit over the Hot Toys True Type body. It is a proprietary figure made from the ground up and the ball joints all around prove that.

Anyway, this is without doubt the best collectors (and the first JP¥22,000+) Iron-Man figure you’re likely to get. Personally, I think it is worth every penny if you’re an Iron-Man fan but if the price does put you off, you could always resort to some… Mattel equivalent… ‘rocket blaster/samurai ninja/cliff-hanging/etc.’ Iron Man figure for US$10 (-_^;)… hahahahaha

This figure will be released in November and will cost JP¥22,000

No matter how expensive this thing is going to be, I will get this baby no matter what, that is just too beautiful!

I wish I can go to Toy Shows like that… it’s just so much to see!

This is one awesome looking Iron Man figure! The Tony Stark/Robert Downey Jr. head is pretty amazing too! If only his hair was parted at the side, then this head would be perfect.
Regardless, I’m definitely purchasing one of these bad boys too!

Woah that is very very detailed and well done. I would get it if I could… It would be cool if they made a series of Iron Man with Iron Monger. That would be HUGE. lol
