Tickets for The Dark Knight Preview
Although the Dark Knight does not officially open here in Japan until August 9th (road show), most cinemas across the country will be ‘previewing’ the movie this coming Saturday and Sunday with ticket sales for Roppongi Hills‘ Toho cinema starting today (I love the caramel popcorn from this cinema).

Otokomae Tofu (男前豆腐) is a brand of tofu (beancurd) that is sold nationwide here in Japan. The name is kinda funky for beancurd - the brand is simply known as 男 meaning MAN but the full name for the product is 男前豆腐 (Otokomae tofu) which basically translates to ‘Handsome Beancurd’. Hmmmmmmmm…

Step aside Pepsi Blue Hawaii and Pepsi Ice Cucumber. We in Japan have a new hotness in town - Unagi Nobori (うなぎのぼり) - which translates to ‘Surging Eel’ and is a new summer drink which hit the nation’s stores this month.
