Yep, this is the bunny that appeared on one of my entries. Well done to those that got the hint and knew it was me who bought it.

So yeah, I spotted the bunny last Thursday (3rd July) on the net then called up the pet store in Osaka right away for more information before reserving him. Back then, the shop keeper could not determine the sex because he was kinda too small. Supposedly, he is the smallest in size compared with his siblings from the same litter and the prettiest in features. These are the reasons why the shop slapped a higher price tag on him - and rightly so.

Anyway, back last week, not only was he a tad on the small side to fly (can you see how he’s grown in only a week?), but he was also still kinda feeding from his mother therefore the shop keeper didn’t want to send him off to Tokyo just yet. They suggested I wait a week while they prepare him for the departure. During this time, the shop keeper separated him from his mother so he can gain a bit of independence and feed on solid food by himself (pellets and hay). Apparently, he was doing more than fine even on the first day after being separated from his mother. Phwew.

And now, here he is in Tokyo! And he flew by plane all by himself… wow-wee. A strong little fella, huh? Today, I headed off to Haneda airport in Tokyo at around lunchtime to pick up the little guy. He was rather nervous then and seemed a little tired therefore he didn’t move a muscle. Not to mention, it was scorching hot - 33C. But now that he’s home, he’s sure settled in: already ran around the living area, ate, pooped and pee-ed on my sofa! He is definitely not a shy boy…

He sure is a strong little guy. Doing well after being taken away from his mom s quickly. Maybe that is normal for rabbits?

I was so thickheaded. I should have known you bought him Eddie.

    Congratulations!
