Bali: Bali Hyatt Hotel
Bali Hyatt Resort Hotel located in Sanur (East of Bali) is where I stayed during my trip to Bali. The hotel is one huge resort with distinctive architecture and lush tropical gardens abounding with exotic foliage and secluded lily ponds. It is located right next to the beach accessible by passing the pool area. As with all resort hotels, you’ll find all the facilities you’d expect: fitness center, spa, pool, etc., etc.
Approx. 5 - 10 mins walk from the hotel on the main street leads you to lots of restaurants, bars, local shops, souvenir shops and foreign currency exchange outlets. Oh, and a heap load of taxis too constantly honking at tourists for business.

Balcony area overlooking a garden.

I didn’t really spend time on the balcony. The last thing I want is to be bitten by mosquitos.

Billions and billions of rooms in the Bali Hyatt.

The Spa. Got pampered here for 2 hrs 30 mins on the last day of the trip. Cost: US$230 (then you gotta add 10% tax and 11% government tax (whatever that is) on top).

Ground floor stairs leading up to the lobby.

The Bali Hyatt. All vehicles must subjected to security checks before they get near the entrance. All bags are to be checked before you enter the hotel. Can’t be too safe I guess…

Man the pics are awesome, looks like you’re earning too much fella!
Looks like a future holiday resort for me and Em
Great place!
…who took care of Kurara while you were on vacation?
Very nice! Were you there for work or pleasure?
Tony
Absolutely, my fortune is pretty close to Bill Gates’… hahaha.
Man, do I love you or what? Pics of food coming up!!
Keith
Left Kurara in a friends in Chiba (the city next to Tokyo) since last Saturday. How about that? The little fella has been all around Japan - Osaka, Tokyo and Chiba! Because it is a house, I was told Kurara was constantly running up and down the stairs as well as tormenting her poor old cat (over 20yrs old)! He came back yesterday but I didn’t get a lot of time with him cuz I’m rather sick (fever, diarrhea, vomiting - also the reason as to why I haven’t got more Bali entries up). Boy has Kurara grown in 8 days, though!

Just a personal trip.
