Bali: Kuta
Kuta is on the west-side of Bali which is approx. 40 mins taxi ride from Sanur. It is one of the main tourists areas (hence Hard Rock and Starbucks is here) with lots and lots of souvenir shops and a few big shopping plazas. Compared to Sanur, this place is much more alive.
The beach, which the taxi driver explained to me is ‘Bali’s pride’, is awesome because not only is it beautiful with high waves (perfect for surfers), it is also a primary spot for observing the sunset which happens from 6pm.
Again, there really isn’t too much to photo here - just lots of boutiques and souvenir shops.
