Bali: Indonesian food
No holiday entry would ever be complete without photos of local food! Unfortunately, I was only in Bali for 3 days (5 if you wanna include the flying days) hence I didn’t get to binge on as much as I would have like…
Don’t expect me to be able to name these dishes - the names really didn’t matter at the time… or ever (^_^)

Phwaor! Grilled garlic shrimps!

Phwaor! Some kind of noodle soup!

Phwaor! Mixed Satay (but was more like BBQ sauce, not satay sauce)!

Phwaor! Shrimp satay (again, like BBQ sauce)!

Phwaor! Ate at some local cheap-butt restaurant. Garlic crab, spicy garlic shrimps, etc.

Phwaor! Chips! Hahahahaha… drinking at a bar.

Phwaor! Banana leaf-wrapped fish!

Phwaor! The real satay - beef, pork, chicken and shrimp!

Phwaor! Indonesian mixed plate!

Phwaor! Indonesia spring chicken of some sort!

Phwaor! Phwaor! My highlight of each morning - breakfast buffet at the hotel! I haven’t eaten a breakfast like this in decades! Man, do I miss baked beans!

Phwaor! My fav breakfast of beans, sausage and bacon mixed with a bit of Indonesian: rice noodles and some kinda rice.

Phwaor! Don’t fancy bacon and sausages for breakfast? Then choose from the Indonesian menu of congee (rice porridge), rice noodles, rice, etc. Yep, breakfast is all-you-can-eat (fresh fruits, fruit juices, coffee and tea, and all the stuff pictured above). Great stuff!

These pictures make me ravenously hungry…
Knock knock, who’s there? Phwaor. Phwaor who? Please phwaor the hell down. nice pictures
That congee at the bottom loosk delicious!!!
