iPod Nano (2008)

Since I couldn’t get my butt out of work early enough yesterday to see the new iPod nano 2008 for myself (launch day), I had to settle for seeing it a day later, today.
To be honest, as cute as the previous nanos were (the fatty square one), I didn’t really like the look of them all that much therefore I was more than happy to see the new nano designs going back to the original ‘portrait’ format.
These new nanos are beautiful and come in more colours than ever. For me, it has to be the silver one because of the combination of colours: silver + black = cool, sleek and awfully sexy!
But its not all praises - I’m not too keen with the new curved screen - it catches reflections from all sides (at least in the light-filled store).
And boy, have prices for memory plummeted! My original 2GB iPod nano (1G) from the end of 2005 pretty much costs the same price as today’s top-of-the-line model at 16GB!

In 2004 I bought an 1.5 GB RCA Lyra, for $220 on sale (CAN).
