¥500 lunch in Tokyo?

IMG_0096.JPG

That’s right! During my eight years in Tokyo, I don’t ever recall being able to buy lunch for ¥500 (except fast food joints like McDonalds). What makes this Hawaiian restaurant all the more amazing (for value) is, not only do you get a main dish, but salad and soup is also included! Oh, and did I mention this place is near Nishi-Azabu (expensive area).

The restaurant is kinda casual and small with only 3 staffs (2 of which are cute chicks). On the lunch menu, there are 3 dishes to choose from as you can see from the photo above. The size of the portion is pretty decent and the taste is also not bad. Really, ¥500 for what you get is crazy cheap. And let’s not forget the added bonus of 2 cute chick serving you the food (despite there squeaky voices. I’m pretty sure they are sisters since they look and sound alike). Another bonus: there happens to be quite a few decent female diners! Oooooh yeaaaah, that’s what I’m talking about.

Drinks? You get to choose between a handful of fruit juices or tea/coffee for ¥100. Normal glass sizes, that is. Not the tiny mouthful ones…

Anyway, not a great deal of updates recently because I am well and truly beyond slammed with work.
