Quarter Pounder in Shibuya
I think Quarter Pounder only showed up in Tokyo 2-3 weeks ago. There are only two here, one in Shibuya and one in Omotesando. The one in Shibuya (the one I visited) will close on 27th November. Yep, just a few weeks stint. Not sure about the one in Omotesando, though.
I think Quarter Pounder is a non-branded MacDonalds? Well, the food definitely looks the same and tastes the same. Well, to be very honest, the beef is a ‘tad’ tastier.
There was quite a bit of buzz when Quarter Pounder showed up here and as usual with all-things-foreign-and-new, the Japanese were queuing around blocks to get in! Hmmmmm… just for either the ‘cheese burger’ or the ‘double cheese burger’ set. Yes folks, that is all there is on the menu – just 2 sets!
Thank god there wasn’t a crowd today otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered (did have to wait to get seated though). Oh, btw, both joints are open 24 hours.
Worth the fuss? Definitely not. Just go to your local MacDonalds.

Map for both branches. If you want to visit the Shibuya one, remember the last day is 27 November.

Dude we’re coming to visit at end of Jan next year. Be prepared to take us to all those eating holes you take pics of hahaha.
Those black and red walls — sexiest fast food place I’ve seen
the package…looks…like the no name brand we have here in Canada, except it’ it yellow here lol
Wow, that packaging is so simple! Far better looking than the one we have here in the US for our quarter and double quarter pounders!
Yeah, I dig the simplistic designs too. That was actually the sole factor that drew my attention
The lack of and basic branding makes it look like those cheap TESCO VALUE goods…
