This year’s defining moment was when Heath Ledger received a posthumous award as best supporting actor for his brilliant performance in “The Dark Knight”. Oh god, does this mean I’m gonna bankrupt myself further? But damn… talk about milking the franchise!

Will it be the ‘nurse’ Joker? The ‘cop’ Joker? Or simply the first version’s clothing with the second version’s headsculpt? Hmmmmmm… I think a Commissioner Gordon would be a better choice.

Anyway, as you can see, the cop and nurse suits already exist for kit-bashes:

Update 2009.02.23 : The Joker – Police Officer Version

So here it is, the Police Joker without make up. Looks pretty good but don’t expect me to buy it…

To salute the Best Joker ever! – To celebrate Health Ledger won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role at OSCAR with his brilliant performance in The Dark Knight as The Joker, Hot Toys decided to issue a very rare version of this character to enrich your collection. I can see Hot Toys making a “Police Joker”, minus the make-up, as most collectors would love to add a non-make-up Joker to their collection (R.I.P. Heath, you were the Man!!).
Now they are also releasing a Silken Floss figure (a.k.a. hottie Scarlett Johannson) and a Godfather Brando figure too…
Damn you Hot Toys!!! Forget about saving any money as long as you keep pumping out quality figurines and super cool vehicles too like the Batpod…
I hope Hot Toys doesn’t release 2 more other Silken Floss and multiple Eva Mendes figures too, and also a James Gordon figure – DOH!!!
