White Day

I’m pretty sure I blogged about this stuff before but I can’t be bothered searching for it so here goes again: lovers in Japan celebrate Valentines Day and White Day.
Valentines Day, like the rest of the world, falls on February 14th. The difference? It is not a day of exchanging chocolates and whatever with your partner. It’s actually the day for the girlfriend to present gifts and what-have-you to the boyfriend.
White Day which falls on March 14th is the day of returning – the bf presents gifts to the gf. Yep, a commercial thing for chocolate makers and such to milk you dry.
Being the most-awesome-and-super-popular-guy on the face of this planet, I usually get a crapload of chocolate on Valentines Day. That’s fine. But when White Day comes, the day to return all the chocolates, all hell breaks loose on my wallet. Good chocolate here can be frikkin’ expensive. In short, I don’t dig White Day…
Pic above: the chocos I have to give in return (that white and gray box with the ribbon is tiny and contains only 2 pieces of bite-sized chocolates. Actually, the rest aren’t big either) .

I think one day for both situations is fine. :b Bust of luck juggling the ladies. Does Kurara owe anyone? I’ll make a note to send him some Bunny Valentine next year (;
