AU iida G9
This is the G9 from Sony Ericsson and is AU’s first cellphone for their newly created brand known as iida (which is some kind of design collaboration between some famous designers and AU’s Design Project team). There is practically nothing ground-breaking in this phone – it’s just a phone that looks… well… darn good! The designer? Ichiro Iwasaki.

I caved in and bought the newly released Medicom Dark Knight Batman today (I suck). There is no doubt, the Hot Toys Dark Knight Batman is definitely the highest quality Batman figure around (maybe not very accurate) but because of the rubber suit, I feel too paranoid to even touch the thing, let alone pose it. On the other hand, this Medicom Batman does not sport a rubber suit therefore I am more than comfortable to play with the thing.

Had to fly my butt to Kobe (near Osaka) today for an emergency meeting with a client and since I had a good few hours to spare before my flight back to Tokyo, I wandered the streets snapping the odd pic or two with my iPhone. I was last here 4 years ago and nothing seems to have changed…

Went to the famous flower mountain (花見山 Hanamiyama) in Fukushima on the weekend. Since Fukushima is in the north, sakuras usually bloom a few weeks later than Tokyo therefore we thought it was the perfect time to go.
