Kobe

Had to fly my butt to Kobe (near Osaka) today for an emergency meeting with a client and since I had a good few hours to spare before my flight back to Tokyo, I wandered the streets snapping the odd pic or two with my iPhone. I was last here 4 years ago and nothing seems to have changed…

The trip was pretty hectic, actually. Got a call from the client yesterday afternoon requesting I go to their headquarters in Kobe by 9am today. Thing is, I didn’t get home from work until 2:30am this morning. My flight was booked for 6:30am which means I had to leave my home at 5am! I just about got one hour sleep. Luckily, I was able to sleep for 45 mins on the plane (it takes an hour to get to Kobe from Tokyo). Then the next nap was on the flight back to Tokyo (9pm-10pm). Again, 45 mins nap or so.

Strange thing was, despite the lack of sleep before the meeting, I didn’t get my usual headaches and nor was I in dreamworld. I guess the meeting was too important for me (my ass is on the line) to feel tired.

Here are a few pics of nothing. Ciao! ZZZzzzzzzz……

At the airport coffee shop before boarding for my flight back to Tokyo. The bacon on the sandwich was awesome!

I think you should know by now that the rodent thing is called a Capibara. A little bit more respect please.
