Medicom Dark Knight Batman GET!
I caved in and bought the newly released Medicom Dark Knight Batman today (I suck). There is no doubt, the Hot Toys Dark Knight Batman is definitely the highest quality Batman figure around (maybe not very accurate) but because of the rubber suit, I feel too paranoid to even touch the thing, let alone pose it. On the other hand, this Medicom Batman does not sport a rubber suit therefore I am more than comfortable to play with the thing.

A big, big plus to Medicom: I am rather surprised to see how accurate this figure really is to it’s onscreen counterpart and for a Medicom ‘final production’ figure, this is easily one of their best and is very, very close to their prototype model which I saw . In the past, Medicom final-on-the-shelf figures rarely looked as good as the prototypes. Hopefully Medicom is feeling the heat from the competition and will continue to pump out great figures for us all. Fingers crossed.
Now, I’m wondering when I will open and play with the thing…
Update: I’ve opened the figure and it is rather nice but for some odd reason, the shoulder pad on the left is glued on a little too high. In fact, it is sticking upwards and away from the collarbone a bit too much. I will be contacting Medicom over the weekend and see what they say. Pics coming afterwards.
