Starbucks for lunch today
… on Kotodori cuz I had to go to some designer shop to get a present. Starbucks for lunch can actually end up quite costly: I got a beef sandwich, a sausage pie and a medium sized (grande) coffee-jelly frappuccino which all came to about ¥1,300. But it is usually totally worth it cuz Kotodori has some nice boutiques and is right next to Omotesando meaning… wait for it… there are loadsa hot chicks! Starbucks here rocks…

Emergency battery pack finally needed

This 100m tall Ushiku Daibutsu buddha statue in Ibaraki is certified by the Guiness Book of Records as being the tallest buddha statue in the world (might have been surpassed recently, though). Had nothing better to do so I gave it a visit yesterday.

Do I look like a Hello Kitty fan?
I obviously do to one of my colleagues. While riding the elevator to the office this morning, I happened to be riding in the same elevator as a good few colleagues. Then all of a sudden, one of the female colleagues hands over a bag of Hello Kitty stuff to me and said, “it’s for you”…

I know it may seem that all Kurara does is lie around and do nothing. Fact is, I find him more cute when he is lying around and it is much easier to get a clear shot of him. When he is not lying around, he is usually trying to squeeze into a closet or jumping around on my futon.
That said, he is usually rather chill. Due to the apartment being small, there really is not a great deal for Kurara to do – he is kinda bored.

Saw the X-Men prequel, Wolverine, today (it only just came out on Friday here) with a friend I last met 3 years ago. Had a pretty good time over dinner and stuff and is exactly what I needed since I’ve had quite some troubles for the last month or so. Anyway, the movie was actually not as bad as most say it is. In fact, it was highly entertaining and good!
