Hot Toys – Markus Wright GET!
The Hot Toys Markus Wright figure has been out for months now and the reason why it took me so long to get him is because, quite frankly, I never wanted it. But since acquiring the awesome John Connor figure, it has always been on my mind that he seems a bit lonely and needs a buddy to spice up his life.
After reading reviews on the Markus figure, it turns out there is little to fault and the collectors just love the figure. With that reassurance and the fact that I re-watched Terminator Salvation this evening, I decided I HAD to get Markus Wright so I dashed out of my home at 8:30pm and made my way to Yodobashi in Akiba (closes at 10pm) to get him…
… then as they say, “the rest is history” (and my wallet is now ¥19,000 lighter).
Comes with 2 outfits: the infamous blue long coat and a leather jacket.
Two headsculpts: a normal Markus head and a damaged version revealing the robotic skull. Both are revised sculpts from the prototype after many people complained that the original bared no resemblance to the actor, Sam Worthington.
