When I post food pics…

… you know I haven’t been up to much (and that I like to tease my buddy, Tony, back in England). These last few weeks, myself and designers have been totally slammed with work which all needs to be completed by the end of this year. Basically, it’s year end and clients realise they still have budget left over which they cannot carry over to next year’s budget so they suddenly call up and place orders for stuff which must be completed by the end of this year and billed… sigh.

Anyway, I’ll leave you with photos of food that were hanging around in my iPhone:

PK JAI!!! Food overload on these pics man! Don’t worry about ‘teasing’ me too much on these pics, as the amount of work you have to do in a week I probably do that in 1 month hahahaha!

Great food pics! I saw a napkin with the word “Portugal”…? Was that a Portuguese resturant in Japan?

    thanks!

    @ Michael
Sharp eyes. Yep, Portugal restaurant… BUT… I don’t think it’s real Portuguese food (well, at least not during lunch time).
Your site looks familiar… maybe I’ve come across it via Nicole (if that name rings the bell)?

Wow! Yes, Nicole is my step-daughter. Her mother, Ana Maria, is from Portugal! Nicole referenced your site when she posted about “Days With My Father.” I began looking at your blog and have thoroughly enjoyed your posts about Japan – especially the food! I was showing Ana Maria the pictures when we came across the Portuguese dish and napkin. She said the dish looked very Portuguese to her:-)

Thank you for posting all those beautiful pictures on your site!

Ah, OK, that’s why I feel something is familiar with your site. I’ve probably come across NIcole-mama pics on Nicole’s website(s) before. Nicole-mama looks like a wonderful lady.

Oh wow, Nicole is part European?! I’ve never actually met Nicole, the Hello-Kitty-crazy-girl. We’ve exchanged mails and various stuff on social network sites. I do know she’s a wonderful girl, though. Very down to earth, happy and friendly.

‘Days with my father’ is a wonderful piece of work. He’s published it in book-form too. You can buy it on Amazon.

Thanks. The food in the pics usually looks good but not a great deal of them actually are. They’re only so-so.

Oh, OK. Just shows how much of an amateur I am thinking it wasn’t the real deal. Due to Nicole-mama’s assurance, I think I’ll definitely dine there for lunch more often!
