Kurara is highly adorable. I don’t seem to see any similar looking rabbits for sale here in Melbourne. Can I ask which breed is Kurara?

Hey~
He’s a Halland Lop. Just like humans, they can vary slightly in looks hence that is probably why you think you have never seen this type before.
Holland Lops, at show bunny level, should have round bodies, round head, wide forehead, short legs, ears should lop approx. 1cm beneath the cheeks, etc.
Most of the Holland Lops I’ve seen in pet shops tend to have longer ears, a pointier face, etc. If you go to a breeder or some better rabbit specialst shops, you’d get something closer to the real deal.
Kurara is also not perfect hence I wouldn’t be able to enroll him in bunny competitions. He is overall a bit on teh small side, his head is not as big as it should be, his forehead not wide enough, front legs are not short enough, etc. Oh well, he’s still a fab bunny and I would not want anything else.
Thanks for the info, Eddie. If I had Kurara, I wouldn’t want anything else either. ^_^

Wow Eddie…i came here looking for the Tokyo Toy Fair pics…and besides getting hooked on the hot toys new releases, i might as well admit getting hooked on Kurara!! hahaha thats a mighty cute rabbit, was goin to ask what breed he is but you answered it already..i’ll probably get one as well (sacrificing the Iron Man bust), one question though, are they hard to care for?

Yes and no. They’re NOT low maintenance.
Lets put it this way, there’s a lot of reading to do on the ‘highs and lows of keeping a bunny’ before you should even consider getting one…
