Toy Sapiens opening

Went to Toy Sapiens, Hot Toys first official store in Japan, today in Tokyo’s Harajuku. Actually, I should rephrase that – I got to the outside of the store… only.

Today is the official grand opening (11am) and I got there at 1pm. There was no one queuing up – primarily because HT employed a ticket approach and I guess all the fan-boys were there for the 11am opening. I was given a ticket numbered 291 and was asked to return at 6:30pm. Yep, a good five and a half hours later. Did I go back? Nope… because they only had 180 of the exclusive Batman figures for sale and I was number 291. There is no way I’d be able to get one…

Also, I think the location is not the best of choices. OK, it’s in Harajuku and its about 15 mins walk from the station but it’s on a road with practically nothing there…
