A-Z Cafe in Omotesando
Walked past this place a billion times but never actually came in until now. A-Z cafe is some kinda collaboration with pop artist, Yoshitomo Nara, who is probably better known for his devilish-yet-cute girl creation.
Anyway, the place with it’s liberal use of worn wood and corrugated iron, accompanied with the mismatched furniture, creates a pretty hip environment…
2 commentsNew Pepsi branding?

When did Pepsi get rebranded? Damn, I’ve been living under a rock recently.
Not sure I’m a fan of the new branding or not but it kinda looks… new. With those kind of fonts, it’ll start to look outdated real quick. As for the logo, ain’t sure I like it either but it looks very familiar. Cannot exactly say where I’ve seen it before but it’s definitely pretty asian looking.
Do you like the new Pepsi branding?
6 commentsKyoto macha baumkuchen
Received this gift from the missus who went on a trip to Kyoto today – green tea flavoured baumkuchen. I’m not the greatest fan of baumkuchen but I guess someone knows I get turned on by good package design.
1 commentStarbucks sakura – done!
I said I would do one of the sakura flavoured drinks at Starbucks and I did today. I’m now satisfied.
3 commentsAt my fav desert shop again

It’s been a while since I last visited my fav desert shop, Ecole Criollo. This is easily one of the better desert shops around despite it’s shortcomings for not being in a commercial district. Still, it’s a darn busy shop.

A little maratan harusame den in Shibuya. Maratan (麻辣湯) is that crazy spicy soup from China and harusame (春雨) is a kind of translucent noodle. No idea if harusame originates from Shanghai but this shop uses Shanghai harusame (上海春雨).
