… Japanese izakaya restaurant in Shinjuku. This restaurant is owned by some group company which also owns other restaurant franchises therefore I guess this restaurant should be in quite a few places.

Actually, let me rephrase that, Coca-Cola bottle… made with lights. This is the Xmas decoration outside the headquarters of Coca-Cola Japan. I just had to take a snap of this because I think it’s nifty, at the same time, rather cheesy. Talk about hard-sell, huh?

Heart-kun DVD

Well, look what I came across today… it’s Heart-kun! No, this is not just some dog-related DVD featuring the pup on the cover only. Rather, this is actually Heart-kun’s own DVD. Yep, as in, this DVD is all about Heart-kun himself.

I guess most of you are familar with Izakaya? Izakaya is basically a Japanese drinking place which also serves food to accompany the drinks (food as in meals, not just snacks). Izakayas are pretty much everywhere and are popular for after work drinking. They range from small and cozy local joints -to- chain franchises which have a much larger footprint -to- more high-end, designer decorated interior ones. Obviously, the price and the quality of the food is reflected.

… Vietnamese restaurant in Yurakucho Itocia mall. Itocia is practically stuck to the new Marui department store and houses all of the restaurants and food stalls.

… fashion department store. I was in Ginza again this evening and since I use Yurakucho station, I thought I’d take a look inside the new Marui department store which opened only last week. As with all places new, there were lots of people! With this Marui being near Ginza, the stores inside seem a little different from stores in other Maruis. There seems to be some slightly higher-end brands here.
