80s – definitely my time
I’m really into Lady Gaga recently. I guess it is because her songs and music videos are so 80s. Man, I love all things retro.

I’ve grown to really like Amuro Namie (安室奈美恵) during the past 4-5 years or so. When she was at the peak of her career a little over a decade ago, I didn’t think much of her. Maybe it was because of her style and looks back then. Now-a-days, I find her more mature and much more attractive. But anyway, I won’t go on about her or her music. Instead, I’ll rave a bit about Vidal Sassoon’s recent FASHION, MUSIC, VS collaboration campaign featuring Amuro Namie.

Wow, melody. will release a new Maxi single called Finding My Road on Valentines Day, February 14, 2007 (actually, it was originally scheduled for end-Jan). That’s just 4 months since she released her previous single, not the usual 6 months gap. I guess she must be doing well right now. Again, I’m gonna have to get it on day one! The CD contains 4 songs:
- Finding My Road
- fragile
- My Dear
- Finding My Road 〜SiZK “Water Drop” MiX – Remixed by SiZK
Two versions of the new single will be available: the standard music CD version (¥1,100) or the music CD + music video DVD combo (music video for Finding My Road. ¥1,500). No need to guess which one I’m gonna go for…

Panasonic updates their D-snap MP3 players today introducing the high-end SD800N and the lower-end SD400V.
I’ve always respected Panasonic’s industrial designs for their previous D-snap models because they always had unique and attractive designs instead of just copying the ever-so-popular iPod. But with this new model, it basically has “iPod nano” etched across it with a touch of Sony. Shape, size and controller wise, it’s borrowed from the iPod while the finish and LCD treatment is from the Sony MP3 Walkman.
