Bali: Indonesian food
No holiday entry would ever be complete without photos of local food! Unfortunately, I was only in Bali for 3 days (5 if you wanna include the flying days) hence I didn’t get to binge on as much as I would have like…

One the last day of my Bali trip, being tired and all, I decided to get pampered at the hotel’s spa before returning to the hectic life which Tokyo offers…
No commentsBali: Kuta
Kuta is on the west-side of Bali which is approx. 40 mins taxi ride from Sanur. It is one of the main tourists areas (hence Hard Rock and Starbucks is here) with lots and lots of souvenir shops and a few big shopping plazas. Compared to Sanur, this place is much more alive.
No commentsBali: Indonesian dance
As we all know, Indonesian dancing is a pretty big part of Indonesian culture with hundreds and hundreds of different dances. Most of the dances are based on tales of fairytale characters and the stories are usually about good Vs evil, about religious ceremonies, etc., etc.
No commentsBali: Sanur
As mentioned, during my trip to Bali, my hotel was located in Sanur which is on the east side of Bali. The following pics are taken near the hotel on the main street which is rather long containing lots of restaurants, bars, local shops, souvenir shops and foreign currency exchange outlets. There really isn’t a great deal to photograph here - once you’ve seen 1/4 of the street, you’ve pretty much seen everything.
1 commentBali: Bali Hyatt Hotel
Bali Hyatt Resort Hotel located in Sanur (East of Bali) is where I stayed during my trip to Bali. The hotel is one huge resort with distinctive architecture and lush tropical gardens abounding with exotic foliage and secluded lily ponds. It is located right next to the beach accessible by passing the pool area. As with all resort hotels, you’ll find all the facilities you’d expect: fitness center, spa, pool, etc., etc.

8 commentsWatched The Dark Knight! Woot!

Finally saw The Dark Knight! Don’t worry, this is not another review of the movie since they’re all over the web as is. I only have 2 things to say about the movie:
- It lives up to the hype
- Heath Ledger was absolutely fantastic
