Spider-Man 3 Vinyl Collectible Dolls
I hate exclusive and limited toys! But that’s what also makes them worth more in the long run. But they’re just so hard to get here in Tokyo where everyone happens to be a toy-otaku of some sort.

Takara Jin-Roh in Genx Core
Actually, it is Kerberos Panzer Cop/Jin-Roh Protect-Gear - Kohakumaru Chuichi (小白丸忠一) in Genx Core to be exact (what a mouthful, huh?). Anyway, this figure came out in the end of December 2006 (or early January 2007?) and is based on the Jin-Roh (人狼) - The Wolf Brigade manga and anime.
This is the second Takara figure to use the new Genx Core male body after Batman Begins in GC. And just like the Batman, this Jin-Roh figure is produced in very limited amounts (even more so than Batman) with most being sold out during the pre-order phase! Needless to say, these figures are now difficult to track down in Tokyo. And it’s not hard to see why - this figure really is the creme-of the-crop! Not only is it ultra-detailed, standing at 12-inches tall, includes a wealth of accessories, it also sports masses amount of joint movement (afterall, its the Genx Core body)!

Takara’s 12-inch Cool Girls take on Catwoman figurine is pretty much the same as the Batman Begins in Genx Core and sports the same amounts of joints for incredible poses. Afterall, the Genx Core body is merely a new male version of the popular Cool Girls body. And just like the Batman, this Catwoman figure is pretty limited and already sold out in Japan!
1 commentTakara Batman Begins in Genx Core

Yesterday, I came across the best Batman Begins collectable figure to date. It is made by Takara and is built around their Cool Girl action figure series. But this time, for whatever reason, Takara decided to make a male figure (I ain’t complaining since it’s Batman!). Obviously, it wouldn’t be funky to attach the brand, Cool Girl, to a Batman figure therefore they named it Genx Core.
8 commentsBlade ‘Complete Box’

I totally missed this but apparently this Medicom RAH 12-inch Blade figure was bundled with a ‘Japan only’ limited Blade trilogy box set back in March. The box set is called ‘Blade Complete Box’ and contains all 3 Blade movies on 5 discs (2 of which are probably special features discs), a special comic that was made specifically for the Blade Trinity DVD release, and a 12-inch Blade figure (comic version) with wires lined inside the coat for extra cool poses!
