And here it is, the 1/6th Iron-Man figure by Hot Toys. Hot Toys announced a while back that they’d be doing a 1/6th figure of Iron-Man but this is the very first time they’ve shown it off. So, what do you all think of it?

The Hot Toys booth at the International Tokyo Toy Show 2008 (ITTS 2008). This is probably only one of a few booths here that do not cater for kids. What we have here are mainly accurate collectors figures which are in the region of JP¥18,000+. Not exactly figures you’d buy for your 10 y ear old. That said, Hot Toys also do some smaller, well designed figures that are highly affordable.

Went to the International Tokyo Toy Show 2008 (東京おもちゃショー 2008) today which is held at the Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center in Odaiba.

And here is the prototype for Hot Toys’ The Dark Knight Joker figure and just like their Batman (original costume), it is looking rather tastey. Again, how the final production ones will turn out is an entirely different matter.

With The Dark Knight movie just around the corner, most toy makers have already released new Batman toys, for kids. For adults, the major collector-figure makers are probably putting the final touches to their movie masterpieces around now and Hot Toys have just released images of their upcoming Batman (original costume) and Joker figures (DC Direct released images of theirs a while back but DC Direct figures are crap, imho, hence not worth mentioning).

The Ninja Hattori-Kun Vinyl Collectible Doll isn’t due out until next month (see prototype) but Medicom has already announced an ‘Old Comic Version‘ which happens to be a glam exclusive!
