FAQ

Note: my stance on certain answers given below will always remain therefore please refrain from asking the same question(s) again. You will be ignored, period.
Q1: Is this website using WordPress?
A: Yes, this website is powered by WordPress.
Q2: Why do you like rabbits? Are you gay?
A: Yes, absolutely. In order to like rabbits, one must engage in sexual activities with someone from the same sex.
Q3: Your rabbits have cool names. What does Ulala and Kurara mean?
A: They are Japanese girl’s names but I don’t know what they mean. I named my grey Netherland Dwarf, Ulala うらら, because it kinda sounds like oh~laa~laa. Thought it was interesting. Then I named my orange Holland Lop, Kurara くらら, because it sounds similar to Ulala. Oh, and by the way, both my rabbits are boys… but with girly names.
Q4: Are there any pics of you on this site? If so, in which entry? I’ve been reading your site for a while now but I don’t know what you look like.
A: There are maybe a few dotted around. Can’t remember which entries, though.
Q5: Why are you so into Apple Macs?
A: Because I’m a graphic designer. I’ve been exposed to Macs from the very beginning after I started to specialise in art and design (in technical school). In short, I’m not one of those ‘switchers’ whom switched because Macs are cool.
Q6: I love that Japanese ‘thing’ you blogged about. I really want one but I can’t get them here in my country. Can you possibly get me one? I’ll send the money to you right away including the shipping fee and $10 for your effort. Or, I can get you something in return from my country.
A: Unfortunately, I am not interested in shopping for strangers and nor am I interested in the few dollars you have to offer. Same goes for the ‘something’ from your country.
Q7: I wanna work in Japan. How will I qualify?
A: Not sure about now but back in the day when I came (2000), you will need (1) a university degree, or (2) have 10 years working experience within a field, or (3) get transferred here via your company from abroad (providing your company has a Japan branch, that is), or (4) if you have a Japanese wife/husband (spouse visa).
Q8: Oh, that Japanese cellphone is awesome. Will it ever get released in my country? Is it region locked? If I imported one, will the whatever-hack unlock it for use in my country?
A: It is doubtful that a Japanese cellphone will make it abroad. Some network providers here stock global models like the HTC Diamond Touch (DoCoMo and SoftBank), BlackBerry (DoCoMo), iPhone (SoftBank), etc. These will no doubt work in your country providing you are able to hack the region lock.
The local Japanese cellphones, even if you can get the ones with GSM to work in your country, some of the phone’s features may not work such as one-seg TV/radio, Suica, Edy, etc., because your country may not yet have the infrastructure to support these features. Because of this and the fact that most Japanese cellphones do not use GSM, Japanese cellphones are not released outside of Japan.
Q9: Man, why do you blog about crap? Get a life.
A: As far as I’m concerned: if you like my site, you’re welcome to stay. If you don’t, you can leave and return to your ‘oh so awesome life‘ of rooting through people’s blogs and bitch about what they do. It really is that simple, period.
